Our food is almost always wrong. They forget things often and give us things we specifically asked not to receive. They have some good waitresses, but most are rude and don’t ever seem to care about customer experience. I’ve never had this problem with RnR Wemo, in fact, its my favorite sushi restaurant.
Really cool varieties of sushi and a few other items. Little pricey for me. I spent $25 on meal and tip for just me and I ordered everything off the cheaper sushi menu (instead of all the choices with the rock and roll titles)! It's a little run down as well, like the old feel of a diner that's been around for 50 years.I do really enjoy the food, hence the 4 stars, but it's just too pricey for me to eat there maybe more than once a year.
Excellent plating and presentation from Chef! With very fun menu and theme. However prices are a bit high and I never recall specials. Waitstaff was ok, slow maybe is a better description. $90 for 5 rolls was a bit much. Fun place but not my favorite for some of the reasons I mentioned above. Fun but not my favorite.
Pretty Disappointed. Poor Service, waited ages and there were only 4 other tables in the restaurant that had customers. Unorganized service. This was the the second time here with the same issue. Thought maybe the first time they were just having a rough day. Won't be back again.
The food is good but service is 50/50, especially if you want a to-go order. Half the time nobody answers the phone. You're better off going in to place your order.
Very good sushi and the crab wontons were amazing!
Best sushi i have tasted in Daphne. My son who has a mature pellet recommends the Michael Jackson roll deep fried.
It's good, but understand, it is a chain restaurant. There are lots of concocted rolls and the like. Definitely not for the sushi snobs in the group. The Daphne location is in a strip mall and it looks and feels that. Definitely go, but do so with eyes open.
Great place. Love the atmosphere and the menu. Very unique. We have been to a different location and enjoyed that as well. The service was very quick and friendly. They even offered some suggestions and pointed ot the specials. The food as always was great. Watched them make everything right there in front of us. Good times and good food.
Great service and great food. The Heart roll is the best but I had to try the Velcro Pygmies roll with the pop rocks!
Ordered the heart roll, omg it was so good, 10/10 I would recommend, and the waitress was awesome
So I'm sitting here at the daphne location with my wife on my anniversary and it's only 3pm. But it is taking for ever for service, but only one waitress. We are also watching the guy who's making our food walking around handling everything with same gloves as raw fish.
The Heart roll is to die for <3
Love this sushi and I'm picky!
Placed a to go order. Service was excellent. Ginger salad was made fresh and their homemade Ginger dressing is delicious! Spicy Tuna Roll was excellent as always. Tried a new roll, I think it was called the Japanese Bagel Roll, smell was not good. Tried a bite and just awful. I have eaten there several times and always pleased. I want to let everyone know that the one bad roll will not keep me away.
Went on Superbowl Sunday. It was empty but the wait staff didn't seem to concerned about getting our 2 rolls of sushi out in a timely manner. Once we did receive the sushi it tasted amazing
It was our first time and it lived up to all the hype. Great food, music and service. We recommend the Elvis and Red Hot Chili pepper rolls.
Been here many time in a couple of locations. Always good stuff! I even let them surprise me sometimes on my Sushi and I have never been let down. Highly recommend it!
The portions of the sushi are small, I usually go to rock n roll sushi in Pensacola and the portions are better. When I'm in the area and want sushi it will not be from here.
Stopped on vacation and loved the theme of the restaurant. And their food was really good.
Sushi was great, service was fast. Will be returning soon!
Pleasantly surprised. Great food and fast. Decent price. Friendly server.
Sushi is ok. Restaurant is dirty and menus smell like mildew.
No music videos playing like the Mobile location always does, which kind of ruins the feel for me. Especially seeing as they chose hgtv as an alternative. Food was still great, just had to wait a bit longer for it.
First time ever had sushi love it
This is the subway of sushi but worse. At least all the ingredients are included in subway but here they even charge you for a side of spicy mayo or eel sauce. Not fresh and way too much sauce.Don't waste your time if you like sushi.
My first time to one of these restaurants. The service was great everything about the restaurant was acceptable. The problem was everything was covered in way too much sauce. I've had less sauce at Burger King.
Outstanding flavor and variety.
I placed an order at 19:30 on doordash. The order was set to go and the doordash employee went to go pick it up. Confirmation that the doordash employee was around 20:20...(40 mins prior to closing)...THE ORDER WAS CANCELED. Reason was store was closing soon. So we called another one and got our order made at 20:25. I came and picked it up in 20mins. They didnt have a problem with me ordering that time. So one doordash is slow (everyone knows that). Two rock n roll sushi in daphne has a bunch of lazy sorry employees who close up early. This was the last time I will order from here, because the next time I think of ordering from here I'll remember this and say not worth having to wait to get a canceled order or some other excuse.
Best sushi that my wife and I have ever had. Friendly staff that will recognize you by name if you eat there; even as a pick up order.
Really good food. Michael Jackson roll is amazing tempura goodness. Really cool, friendly staff. Got a to-go order and it came out quickly. Definitely recommend
Good sushi, great atmosphere and names for their sushi.
Great place.....very good sushi, it also can be very pricey. Be prepared to drop $100 on two people getting specialty rolls. Im not saying it's not worth it, this reveiw is to say....you get what you pay for...and it's some of the best sushi I've had.
Pretty good sushi and fairly quick. A little pricey but most sushi places are
Service was terrible. I would give it 1 star, but the food was very good. It was New Years Eve and very slow (5 tables, my party of 2 included), yet it took entirely too long to get our sushi order in, another 20 to receive it, at which mine came out wrong (to our server's credit she noticed it as she brought it to table... I HATE spicy mayo and requested to not have any), and then another 15 minutes to get the remake back out. Almost 50 minutes from coming in before I recieved the sushi I ordered. She apologized but no offer of discount or coupon for next visit or anything else was done to make me feel that anyone actually cared about the delays... on a night that each table should have gotten allstar service as slow as they were. Would not reccomend unless you have nothing but time to kill, or are just dying for their sushi (which, once again IS very good imo; but you can get as good or better sushi elsewhere with much better service)
The Ahi tuna salad was magnificent, tasted delicious well-prepared and pretty
The wonton appetizer is awesome! While the Rolling Stones sushi is probably my favorite, I still always get the Spicy Tuna roll, too!
Ordered curbside tonight.... very disappointed! Received the wrong roll, my other roll wasn’t topped with avocado as I asked, the grilled vegetables were just disgusting.
A little slow at getting your food out but good
I went today and placed a to go order. When the waitress said it l would only be 5 minutes I was confused but didn't say anything. I went to the restroom and came back to see the chef pulling my sushi out of the microwave. I ordered a Micheal Jackson roll so I was looking forward to a little crunch I tasted a piece and it was just a big disappointment, definitely was obvious it hadn't just been cooked. I would've waited for fresh but I guess I wont be getting to go anymore unless I take it with me after eating in. Very disappointing for a place I love to eat.
The best sushi in town by far. Just a little pricey.
Food is really good! The uniqueness was really intriguing. Each menu is different in the sense that it is a different album cover. And the names of all the rolls of sushi are different, making you remember which one is your favorite!
Everyone was very attentive, and we got our food pretty quick. The Micheal Jackson roll was so good. Will definitely go to this location again!
Rolls flavors and presentation is ok but to smallTo-go Chicken fried rice portions to small In my salad I only found Romain lettuce.Over price $64+tips for two persons to go no drinks.
Best sushi around
The food is good. The service is incredibly slow even when not busy.
The food and service were pretty good up until the server (Kelsey) brought the check. She had included a gratuity (for a party of 3) which wasn’t really the problem but she circled the total owed in a black sharpie that intentionally covered up the included gratuity so you couldn’t see it. We were dining with 2 other parties. One was a party of 1. The other was a party of 2. She did the same thing on their checks.
Service was poor. The waitress asked us to wait for a few minutes because the system was down. She didn't want to write the order down and then put it in the system. That would have been fine but she forgot we existed. Orders of people who came in afterwards were taken. When we finally flagged her down to take our order, we were given attitude. One of our orders were completely wrong because she was unable to get it right. The person I was with had to tell the sushi chefs what she order. We weren't checked up on. Now, the food was delicious.
Very disappointed with the experience at Rock N Roll Sushi.... The food was very good... Shrimp roll... And to hibachi dinners... 1 steak & shrimp and one chicken.... Salad was really good. No selection of salad dressing... And only 1 soup. Paid over$55 for two people to eat... The real kicker came in when they charged me for condiments... Paid $0.75 for an additional yum yum sauce and 50 cent for a sriracha sauce. All in all I would say the value doesn't exist. Way too expensive for what you get.. and way too expensive to charge for condiments.
The best sushi in all of South Alabama - and I've tried everywhere!
